Create this impressive, no-bake Baileys Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle featuring rich layers of chocolate, creamy cheesecake filling, and Irish cream flavor. This dessert is simple to assemble and perfect for parties or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Slowly mix in the Baileys Irish Cream liqueur until fully combined. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in half of the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the Baileys cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  4. To assemble the trifle, start with a layer of crushed chocolate sandwich cookies in the bottom of a large glass trifle bowl.
  5. Layer one-third of the Baileys cheesecake mixture over the cookie crumbs.
  6. Top the cheesecake layer with half of the chocolate pudding mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers: cookies, remaining Baileys cheesecake mixture, remaining chocolate pudding mixture, and finish with a final layer of crushed cookies.
  8. Spread the remaining thawed whipped topping evenly over the top layer.
  9. Chill the trifle for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the layers to set.
  10. Before serving, drizzle generously with chocolate syrup.

Notes

  • For individual servings, assemble this dessert in small glasses or jars instead of one large bowl.
  • You can substitute store-bought chocolate cake pieces for the crushed cookies if you prefer a softer texture in the layers.
  • If you need a non-alcoholic version, substitute the Baileys Irish Cream with 1/2 cup of strong cold coffee mixed with 1/4 cup of cream and 1/4 cup of simple syrup.
