Ingredients
Scale
5 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dry ranch seasoning mix, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder. Mix well until you have a smooth, thick coating.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps the coating stick better.
Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
Spread the ranch mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the topping is lightly golden brown.
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. This keeps the chicken juicy.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Adjust baking time as needed, usually 25-30 minutes for thighs.
Serve this flavorful baked poultry with roasted potatoes or a fresh salad for a complete family friendly chicken dinner.
If you prefer a crispier topping, briefly place the dish under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
