Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 large apple, thinly sliced and patted dry
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pretzels or nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into a thin, even layer.
  4. Arrange the apple slices over the melted chocolate.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples and chocolate.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped pretzels or nuts and flaky sea salt.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until the bark is firm.
  8. Break into pieces and serve.

Notes

  • Use a good quality chocolate for the best flavor.
  • Ensure apple slices are very dry to prevent the chocolate from seizing.
  • You can substitute pecans or walnuts for pretzels.
  • Store leftover bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
