Make the sweet and creamy Grape Salad inspired by Chicken Salad Chick at home. This recipe features juicy grapes coated in a rich dressing, topped with crunchy pecans and brown sugar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds seedless grapes (a mix of red and green recommended)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Place the grapes in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add the sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Mix until the dressing is completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the grapes. Gently fold the dressing into the grapes until all the grapes are evenly coated.
  5. Spread the grape mixture into a serving dish.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the chopped pecans and brown sugar. Sprinkle this topping evenly over the grape salad.
  7. Cover the dish and chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • You can toast the pecans lightly before chopping for a deeper flavor.
  • Prepare the salad up to 24 hours in advance; keep it covered in the refrigerator.
