Ingredients
Scale
1 (16.3 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
Separate the biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
Roll each biscuit piece in the melted butter, then toss in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until well coated.
Place the coated biscuit pieces into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the bites are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk in a small bowl until smooth. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired glaze consistency.
Once the cinnamon roll bites are out of the oven, let them cool slightly in the muffin tin before drizzling with the glaze.
Notes
For a cream cheese glaze, mix 2 ounces of softened cream cheese with 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1-2 tablespoons milk until smooth.
These bites are best served warm.
You can add chopped nuts to the cinnamon-sugar mixture for extra texture.
