Make this sweet and creamy dip with cream cheese and caramel. It is simple to prepare and pairs well with fresh apple slices for a quick dessert or party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup caramel topping (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup toffee bits (optional, for topping)
  • Fresh apple slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish.
  5. Pour the caramel topping evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. If using, sprinkle the toffee bits over the caramel layer.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to set slightly.
  8. Serve cold with crisp apple slices.

Notes

  • You can make this dip ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate for up to two days.
  • For a layered look, gently spread the caramel over the cream cheese base.
  • Serve with graham crackers or pretzels instead of apples for variety.
