Make restaurant-quality Texas Roadhouse Style Baked Salmon at home in 30 minutes. This recipe yields incredibly moist, flaky salmon with a sweet and savory glaze perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for slight heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. This helps achieve better texture.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season evenly with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using) to create the glaze.
  5. Brush about half of the glaze mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven. Brush the remaining glaze over the hot fillets.
  8. Serve immediately. This salmon pairs well with roasted vegetables or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For crispier edges, place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the glaze.
  • If you prefer a stronger garlic flavor, add 1 minced clove of garlic to the glaze mixture.
  • This recipe works well for both fresh and thawed frozen salmon fillets.
