A simple recipe for a balanced sweet and smoky honey barbecue sauce, perfect for grilling and wings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Stir well to combine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container for storage.
