A simple recipe for creamy, flavorful garlic aioli that enhances sandwiches, vegetables, and seafood.

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil and vegetable oil while whisking constantly until the mixture emulsifies and thickens into a creamy sauce.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  4. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
