A rich and creamy linguine dish with ground beef, tossed in a silky garlic butter Parmesan sauce. This one-pan skillet recipe is perfect for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounces linguine
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, until browned. Drain off excess grease.
  2. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the butter and cook until melted.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.
  6. Add the linguine to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. If the sauce seems too thick, add a splash of pasta water or milk to reach your desired consistency.
  7. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the linguine is al dente and has absorbed some of the sauce.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer sauce, you can add a splash of white wine after cooking the garlic and let it reduce before adding the cream.
  • Feel free to add other vegetables like spinach or mushrooms along with the garlic for extra flavor and nutrients.
  • Ensure your linguine is cooked al dente, as it will continue to cook in the sauce.
