1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder
1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
1 tablespoon milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the protein powder, almond butter, maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
Stir until a thick dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more milk, one teaspoon at a time. If it’s too sticky, add a little more protein powder.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use peanut butter.
Adjust sweetness to your preference by adding more or less maple syrup.
You can substitute Greek yogurt for some of the nut butter for a different texture and added protein.
