Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup purple ice cream or grape ice cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
  • Green food coloring (optional, for deeper green)
  • Purple food coloring (optional, for deeper purple)
  • Whipped cream
  • Candy eyes
  • Chocolate syrup

Instructions

  1. Prepare your glasses: Drizzle chocolate syrup around the rim of each glass. Roll the rim in festive sprinkles.
  2. In a blender, combine vanilla ice cream, milk, green ice cream, and peppermint extract (if using). Blend until smooth. If you want a more vibrant green, add a few drops of green food coloring and blend again.
  3. Pour the green mixture into the prepared glasses, filling them about halfway.
  4. Rinse the blender.
  5. Combine the remaining vanilla ice cream, milk, and purple ice cream in the blender. Blend until smooth. Add purple food coloring if desired.
  6. Carefully pour the purple mixture over the green layer in the glasses.
  7. Top each milkshake with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  8. Decorate the whipped cream with candy eyes and more sprinkles.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For an extra spooky touch, use black sprinkles or edible glitter.
  • Kids can help decorate the milkshake rims and add the candy eyes.
  • Consider making a chocolate drizzle for the inside of the glass before adding the milkshake for an extra chocolatey flavor.
