Ingredients
Scale
1.5 lb pork tenderloin
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
While the pork sears, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Pour the maple Dijon glaze over the pork tenderloin in the skillet.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the pork registers 145°F (63°C).
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Slice and serve with extra glaze spooned over the top.
Notes
For a make-ahead option, you can prepare the glaze up to 3 days in advance and store it in the refrigerator.
This recipe is great for a quick weeknight meal as it comes together in under an hour.
You can substitute honey for maple syrup if needed, but the flavor will be slightly different.
