Make this simple, no-bake peanut butter dip that tastes like buckeye candies. It is creamy, sweet, and perfect for parties or snacking with fruit or crackers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (for thinning chocolate)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and softened butter together until smooth.
  2. Add the peanut butter and powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture. Beat on medium speed until fully combined and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  3. Transfer the peanut butter mixture to a serving dish and spread it evenly.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with the vegetable oil in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until completely smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate evenly over the peanut butter base. Spread gently to cover the top layer.
  6. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow it to set.
  7. Serve cold with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate topping, use milk chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
  • If you want a fluffier texture, fold in 1 cup of whipped topping after the peanut butter mixture is combined.
  • This dip is excellent for game day or as a quick dessert dip for parties.
