Make this quick and easy Peanut Butter Pretzel Bark for a perfect sweet and salty treat. This no-bake dessert combines creamy peanut butter, crunchy pretzels, and rich chocolate layers, ideal for parties or satisfying cravings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups mini pretzels
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for sweetness adjustment)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and peanut butter.
  3. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is completely smooth and melted. This usually takes 1 to 1.5 minutes total.
  4. If you prefer a sweeter bark, stir in the powdered sugar now until combined.
  5. Spread half of the chocolate peanut butter mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Sprinkle the mini pretzels evenly over the chocolate layer. Gently press them down slightly.
  7. Pour the remaining chocolate peanut butter mixture over the pretzels, spreading it to cover them completely.
  8. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour, or until the bark is firm.
  9. Once set, lift the bark out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Break the bark into irregular pieces.
  10. Store the Peanut Butter Pretzel Bark in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • If you do not have a microwave, melt the chocolate and peanut butter together using a double boiler method over low heat.
  • You can add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top before chilling for an extra salty crunch.
