Make this easy, no-bake pecan pie dip featuring a creamy cream cheese base and a sweet caramel pecan topping. It captures classic pecan pie flavor without the baking time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dippers: Graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until just combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into a shallow serving dish. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. While the base chills, prepare the topping. Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until the butter melts and the mixture simmers.
  5. Cook the caramel mixture for 2 minutes, stirring gently. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped pecans. Let the topping cool slightly, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  6. Pour the warm pecan caramel topping evenly over the chilled cream cheese base.
  7. Serve the dip immediately with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, toast the pecans lightly before adding them to the caramel topping.
  • If you need to make this ahead, prepare the cream cheese base and topping separately. Store them covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, then assemble and serve within an hour of topping.
  • This dip pairs well with vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies for dipping.
