Make this bright, herby, and creamy dill dip in just five minutes. It is a refreshing appetizer perfect for serving with vegetables, crackers, or pretzels at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the sour cream and mayonnaise to the bowl. Mix until just combined.
  3. Stir in the fresh dill, dried onion flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
  4. Taste the dip and adjust seasonings if needed.
  5. For the best flavor, cover the bowl and chill the dill dip for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
  6. Serve cold with your favorite chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • If you do not have fresh dill, you can substitute 2 teaspoons of dried dill weed, but fresh dill provides a brighter flavor.
  • This dip tastes best when made ahead of time; chill for up to 24 hours for maximum flavor development.
  • For a tangier dip, replace 1/4 cup of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
