A quick and simple recipe for a fresh, creamy Greek yogurt sauce perfect for dipping or as a condiment.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and finely grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Squeeze excess water from the grated cucumber using a clean kitchen towel or paper towels.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, chopped dill, chopped mint, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  3. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  5. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
