Make this creamy White Christmas Margarita for your holiday gatherings. This festive cocktail uses coconut cream and lime for a refreshing, snowy look that impresses guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur (like Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
  • 1.5 ounces cream of coconut (sweetened)
  • 0.5 ounce coconut milk (full fat, canned)
  • Ice
  • Optional Garnish: Lime wheel, shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Chill your margarita glasses. If desired, rim the glasses with lime juice and dip in shredded coconut for a frosted look.
  2. Combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, cream of coconut, and coconut milk in a cocktail shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice.
  4. Seal the shaker and shake well until the outside is very cold, about 20 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into your prepared, chilled glasses filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish each White Christmas Margarita with a lime wheel or a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a pitcher recipe for holiday entertaining, multiply all ingredients by the number of servings needed and mix in a large pitcher, chilling for at least one hour before serving.
  • If you prefer a slightly less sweet drink, use unsweetened coconut milk instead of cream of coconut, but you may need to add a small amount of simple syrup to taste.
  • This recipe makes a refreshing holiday sipper that pairs well with light appetizers.
